I’m Sidak Bhatia, a passionate and driven Computer Engineering student who thrives on innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. My journey in engineering has been fueled by a love for building projects that challenge the status quo and push me beyond my comfort zone. I believe that the best growth happens when you take risks, embrace challenges, and turn ideas into real-world solutions.
I’ve participated in multiple hackathons, including three major events, one of which was ElleHacks, Canada’s largest all-women and non-binary hackathon. Competing in these high-energy environments has taught me how to work effectively under pressure, think creatively on the spot, and turn abstract concepts into functional prototypes in record time.
Beyond competitions, I’m deeply committed to making engineering a more inclusive and diverse field. As an Executive Member of IEEE Women in Engineering, I actively mentor and motivate young women pursuing STEM. I believe diversity drives innovation, and I strive to create opportunities where every voice is heard and valued.
From developing AI-driven solutions to working on embedded systems, my projects reflect both technical expertise and a commitment to meaningful impact. Whether it’s designing a CPU system for or exploring how we can design a sustainable project to improve our future, I aim to merge technology with purpose. My goal is to continue growing as an engineer who not only solves problems but also inspires others to innovate boldly.
My résumé offers a closer look at my academic background, technical skills, and hands-on experience through projects, hackathons, and leadership roles. It reflects my passion for innovation, my commitment to diversity in engineering, and the drive that fuels every challenge I take on.
